The ROVETEMERG platform provides access to best facilities, resources and services for researchers, targeted parties and stakeholders. Such a research and diagnostic platform responds to challenging health and socio-economic situations (eg. the context of COVID-19), providing the infrastructure for a prompt response, but also for the subsequent implementation of projects or for diagnostic services. Addressing an area with important scientific and technological potential for Romania, ROVETEMERG will contribute to increasing economic competitiveness and promoting sustainable regional development and reducing disparities between the country's regions and between Romania and other EU Member States. It will enable collaborative research and technological development efforts across geographical and disciplinary boundaries.

We offer a modern technical infrastructure necessary for advanced biomedical research.

ROVETEMERG has access to one of the most advanced and constantly growing laboratory in Romania. We provide high-tech equipment that allows excellent research and development with cutting-edge technology.

Level 3 (BSL3)
The BSL-3 laboratory is located on the first floor of the ROVETEMERG. This cohesive infrastructure was developed to serve the increasing biomedical research on risk-group 3 viral, parasitic and bacterial pathogens.
ABSL3
Animal Biosafety
Level 3 (ABSL3)
The ABSL-3 facility is a high-containment facility that offers procedural and animal housing to perform in-vivo research with biosafety level 3 pathogens.The ABSL-3 is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to monitor expermients.

ROVETEMERG provides cutting-edge fields of genetics and genomics by implementing complex technologies. Chief among these is “next-generation” sequencing (NGS), which has revolutionized research in virtually all biological fields in the past decade.

The Small Animal Imaging Lab provides advanced imaging system that facilitates noninvasive longitudinal monitoring of disease progression and cell trafficking in living animals.

ROVETEMERG provide a full range of pathology tests, offering routine processing, embedding, sectioning and staining of paraffin and frozen tissues, the facility houses a fully automated immunohistochemistry (IHC) system enabling simultaneous protocols and increased efficiency.

Provides simultaneous characterization of mixed populations of cells from blood and bone marrow as well as solid tissues that can be dissociated into single cells such as lymph nodes, spleen, mucosal tissues, solid tumors.
Maldi-Tof
Proteomics
MALDI-TOF MS determines the unique proteomic fingerprint of an organism, and matches characteristic patterns with an extensive reference library to determine the organism´s identity.
Ultra Low
Bioarchiving
Offering Ambient, Refrigerated, Frozen, and Ultra-Low Storage (-150°C) and Liquid Nitrogen(−195 °C). We are able to provide long-term archiving solutions for multiple types of research material
